Hi, I’m Timothy! I’m a native speaker from Vancouver, Canada, and I’ve been teaching English since 2009.

While I work with students at all levels, I specialize in teaching adult professionals. I have extensive experience working with people in the tech sector and the government sector. Along with general language skills, I frequently help my students with presentation skills and communication soft skills so they can feel confident at work.

I also run an improv comedy company. Improv taught me that the fear of making mistakes is often what holds people back the most. I am very good at helping English learners overcome that anxiety so they can speak freely and confidently.

I have a BA in Philosophy, and a wide range of interests, so it’s always easy to find something engaging to talk about in our lessons.

I am a registered vendor with many companies, including DHL and Amazon, and can accept corporate invoices.

I earned a Cambridge CELTA teaching qualification in 2009.

I've taught in Asia, Canada, the UK, and Switzerland.
Since 2015, I have been teaching in Prague, and I have taught over 7000 online lessons.

Clear Continuity: Every new lesson starts with a quick review of the previous lesson and mistakes, ensuring you actually make measurable progress.
