Hello!

I am a native English speaker from the US with 10+ years of ESL teaching experience. Have you been to the US? What was it like?

I have taught with language schools as well as private tuition. My experience ranges from individual lessons to group courses. In addition to teaching general English, I have also taught business English, conversational English, and test preparation.

Additionally, I work as a teacher-trainer which involves a lot of hands on training at a local accredited TEFL program. This program trains and prepares individuals regarding teaching methodology, grammar, demonstration, and overall presentation. Many of the available teachers on this website have been trained by me.

All in all, it has been rewarding work and I hope to continue it as much as possible.

In my free time, I like cooking, going outdoors, photography, beer gardens, movies, and travel. Do we have similar interests? Let's talk!

My lessons are varied and engaging. I try to personalize my lessons for students while keeping a light and lively atmosphere. Here are what some previous students have said about me and my approach. (These are from a language school student satisfaction survey) A. has positive approach, is willing to help and in good mood. Her classes are variable, A. has different role-plays, games and competitions ready for us. We have fun with her. She has positive approach, chooses interesting topics, there is a lot of room for conversation. A. is always well prepared. Picks topics useful outside the classroom. Andrea likes to ask or is interested in what we are talking about which contributes to the good atmosphere of our lessons. Spontaneous, flexible. I have had lessons with Andrea for many years and i fill this questionaire in every year with similar information. She a great and funny teacher. always ready. Interesting texts, audio, video, pictures. She is interested in what we like.We all like going to her lessons.Very nice, brings positive energy. ready, reliable. Individual approach, always answers all my questions. She is patient, ready. Her lessons are fun not at all routine. We share the same sense of humour. I consider her a friend. Andrea is the best teacher of English I have ever had. I like the concept of her She has got admirable general knowledge, perfect in communication, her classes are always amusing, interesting and well prepared.  I have been attending Andrea´s classes for many years and I have always been completely happy. We can all feel that she is keen on her job and her students and each lesson is an amazing experience. All her lessons are unbelievably funny and amusing and get never repeated. We learn great vocabularyand phrases from real- life language. I love her lessons and always look forward to them. 
 Andrea is amazing, I have never experienced such a teacher (compared to Rolino, British Council etc.), I just hope she will stay with us forever.
