My name is Kate, and I am very happy to teach via Teacher Creature. I am a native English speaker from Washington, United States. My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in political science and international studies and master's degree in international studies with extensive professional experience working with K - secondary school aged students, young adults and business professionals. I see teaching as an opportunity to not only exchange knowledge but to empower and equip students with the skills they need to achieve their goals. I look forward to teaching and growing with students at Teacher Creature.

My experience in pedagogy, both as a student and as a teacher, inspired me to pursue the TEFL and YLT certifications, bolstering my teaching skills. After earning my TEFL and YLT certifications, I began teaching English to ESL students and have been doing so for over a year in the Czech Republic. My experience teaching in Prague has been varied and given me a unique approach to teaching. I have taught at language school focused on business English, one-on-one private lessons, and both traditional and Montessori schools. I have worked with children and adults of different ages and backgrounds and have found my passion for inspiring all types of learners.
