Hello! I'm an experienced teacher from New York State, USA, and also lived in England for two years. I've been living in the Czech Republic for five years now.

In New York, I worked in government and politics where my work involved a lot of writing and professional speaking and communication.

I teach both children and adults in one-on-one lessons and in groups. I have taught English in Prague for 5 years. I can teach conversation, grammar, and vocabulary. I can teach business English or general English. I can teach any level of student.

I present a vocabulary theme or grammar point, do guided practice, allow a period of less controlled practice, and finally have the student demonstrate use of the language more openly and naturally. I ask a lot of questions and judge what the student wants to focus on and what style and direction is most useful for them.
